What projects does the Citizen Advocacy Trust of Australia fund?

 

The following kinds of projects may be funded by the CA Trust.

  • Partial start-up funding of new local Citizen Advocacy offices to a maximum of 80% of total program operation decreasing over a 5 year period to 20%;
  • Grants to existing local Citizen Advocacy offices to cover part of their operating budgets and especially to programs that are well run but financially precarious;
  • Special projects, learning innovations and training for individuals and programs wanting to learn more about Citizen Advocacy;
  • Supporting the development of products related to Citizen Advocacy, such as tools to assess the quality of Citizen Advocacy programs, or publications and periodicals devoted primarily to enriching Citizen Advocacy practice and relationships.
